About the figure

Link

This is a figure in honored of Legend of Zelda a popular video game series created by Nintendo in early 1986.
The figure was made by first4Figure and was published by Dark Horse Comics . The specific statue is in honored of Legend of Zelda : Skyward sword
a game that was released for the Wii and Wii U consoles back in November .The statue is a small piece of a bigger puzzle. What i mean by this is that
there are three different pieces.
  1. Link
  2. Captain Skervo
  3. Shipwreck
Basically you get the ruined ship and you place the 2 character figures in the right place to create the illusion that they are fighting.. The figure comes in 4 seperated, pieces
The hero Link and the base.

Because of the scenario mentioned above you can see that Link is the one getting ready to defend any upcomming blows. However given the fact that he is about to use
his master sword instead of his hyrulean shield, it is safe to assume that he ll either block or he is about to parry the enemy pirate's attack.
He is also seem to be leanning in front, placing strenth on his knees and abdominals in order to tank the upcomming damage . Its a very strategic and dynamic pose however,
its should be mentioned that without the pirate figure and the correct placing angle the figure might considered looking slightly off.

The detailing in the figure is amazing.
Startng with the weaponry, The master sword is 16 cm tall .The symbol of the triforce is also carved on the blade from both sides and the winged neck has its curves
and diamonds placed from both sides. Its a really nice and detailed sword with the painting giving it extra details that points to its sharpness. The buster sword case is also incredible.
Its approximately 13cm which is excactly how long the blade part of the sword is. It has the colour combination of mat blue and golden various shapes here and there with different layers
adding different sense of depth. Other small details come from the silver nails, the belt and the symbol of triforce.

shield The Hyrulean Shield is held on Link's left hand and has it's height is equal to 8cm and its vertical height equal to 6cm .Similary to the sword it has an amazing touch to detail.
First things first the symbols of he shield. The Hyrulean shield always bears the symbol of the triforce, which are the yellow pyramids for those unaware,a red Hylian Crest representing
the godess Hylia and last but not least the crismon Loftwing representing the bird that helped Link in his quest during the game. The silver part of the shield also has a small amount of
detail in terms of design, such as adding 5 diamond shape gaps here and there and extra 3 sphere shaped nails. However the best part of the detail comes from the painting. You can tell
that this shield has gone through alot and blocked plenty of hits. Using black scratches and shady coloring createds this illusion in a fantastick way, scratches added here and there and
the most important detail that shows damage is bottom left, it has a deeper cut.

Link overall looks perfect himself. the facial expression looks dead serious and quite realistic. Being a Hylian he has Pointy elvish ears with his blue earings His eyes look very anime-ish
but also quite realistick in terms of coloring. His hair has a unique movement and it also combines 2 diferent layers of coloring. His clothing is his iconic green tunic . His tunic has 3 layers
of green giving the viewer a perfect understanding of his clothing. From the inside he wears a white shirt which can be seen at his white collar and his white sleeves.
Link on top also wears black gloves and blue arm protectors. He is also seemed to be wearing armor underneath looking at the side of his right leg. Its the silver part
that is can be seen underneath.Last but not least he wears plenty of belts on top . On the main belt in the back there are also 2 small pocket bags .
On the lower part Link has 2 dark brown boots with a small sculpted patter to the front. Link's trousers are a weird colour combination of yellow and very open brown.
The base of the statue has a circlulish shape with its radious equal to 10, giving it an open size of 20 and a height of 2cm. In the center we have the Triforce symbol with a peculiar maze shape thing carved to it.
