About the figure

SonicHedgehog This is a diorama in honor of SEGA's most iconic character and mascot. The blue blur known as Sonic the Hedgehog from the iconic video game series Sonic the hedgehog.
A diorama is a model representing a scene with three-dimensional figures, either in miniature or as a large-scale museum exhibit.Simply put is a figure with extra details in the background
and the base.This diorama includes:

The diorama was sculpted by Varmer studios and it was published by Diamond select toys mid 2018.It was originally meant to be a Gamestop exclusive, however this seems not to be the case
as the statue can be found outside of GameStop stores. Diamond select toys is notoriously known for their amazing job with various marvel and Dc products . The amount of details , on the character
their poses and their special effects are fantastic. What is really amazing is that the company has different collections for all sorts of fans and their respective budgets.

The diorama is approximately 23 cm tall, 7 cm length and 10 depth and it's made out of high grade PVC .It comes in one piece, you dont have to place anything anywhere. The main character in it is none
other than the blue blur AKA Sonic the hedgehog. Sonic himself is around 15 cm tall and he is portrayed in his modern version and not in the classic form.Sonic is seen jumping high in order to grap
a ring with his right arm, while holding a green diamond known as chaos emerald with his left hand. His facial expression is serious but him being Sonic he has to have a side smirk to show his arrogance style and personality.
The ring is appproxiamtely 5 cm tall and the chaos emerald about 3.5 cm. On his back, Sonic has 9 spikes and they all seems to be of various sizes depending on their locations. He is wearing his white gloves
but unlike his avatar in the video games, his gloves do not have specific patters sculptured on them to give a different feeling of touch. On his feet Sonic is rocking his red sneakers with the gold sticker.
Their propotions seems to be of the right size and they re colored beautifully. The soles of the shoes on the other hand do have a fair ammount of lines showing and feeling more realistic in comparisson wtih the gloves.
Last but not least the jumping effect. On Sonics feet the Studio used PVC layers to show his Jumping power and force. By adding this anyone who gazes upon the figure can tell that this character is using strong force
to make his jump in order to reach the target which in this case it's the ring. All of the layers of the effects have various sizes and different patterns which makes most of the unique. Note: Not refering to other Sonic dioramas
having different effects BUT the ones on the figure.
. The layers in the front are shorter while the ones on the back are are bigger.

The last part of the Diorama is green hills zone, which is the base of the diorama. It has a unique shape, on the front it seems as a normal rectangle with a reverse cycle in the naked eye but its far from the truth.
For better understanding, the highest the green hills reach ,is around 6,5 cm while Sonics leap is around 4.5 cm. The green part of green hils does have a different sense ofs touch. It doesn't have fake grass but instead,
it is usng bumps, lines and small holes in order to create the illusion. The rest part of the base is filled with the iconic square patterns of lighter and darker brown. It's quite noticable that the patterns change mid way
due to extra gaps being created .

Overall the figure is quite beautiful. Its quite tall, yet it doesnt require much of store space. It takes as much as the base requires which in this case is 7 cm and 10cm. It portrais the character quite well. It's cartoonish
look makes it stand out even more. It's quite suprising how light the statue feels. The painting job is really good ,and its worth being mentioned. A questioned frequently asked is whether or not the jumping effects or the
Chaos emerald light up. the answer to this question is No. Neither the effects or the emerald light up.
