This is a figure made by Jem Gonzales for the annual Banpresto world Figure Colosseum series. This is a worldwide sculpting tournament that
started from 2010 and takes place every year. It was originally only in Japan, however in 2017 it expanded and has participants from all over the world.
Banpresto World Figure Colosseum (BFWC) allows both amatures and professionals to compete as long as they are up for the challenge. The competitors
are allowed to pick a specific series, choose a character from that and decides in which pose that character will be presented . The contenders present
an art of the character for the first stage, they re then asked to create 3D model digitally and for the final step, is to sculpt it normally and have it for diplay
normaly the display doesnt have color. In 2017 Jem Gonzales an artist from Philipines had the idea of sculpting Goku Black from the Dragonball super series
because he found the character very cool and Unique.The story of Goku Black really captured his interst and for that he knew Goku Black was for him to make.
The figure is approximately 17-18cm tall and it comes in 6 pieces.

The figure is gorgeous and it well deserves the award it received upon release which was Fan-Favorite Award . Basically it was so good that the majority
of the fans, judges and sculptors liked what they saw. On the base of the figure the logo of the competition is sculpted. Starts with the Logo of the crown followed
by capitals BFWC.Below them you get a line for each letter's meaning. For the last part of the base the logo of the planet earth can be seen with the text since 2011
along side the trademark of Bandai and Banpresto. Regarding the 2 stands its easy to say which one is aimed for which.The long one is for Goku and the smaller one for the scythe
This figure is one of the first one that presented the character of Goku Black with his Sickle of Sorrow Aka his Scythe. His Scythe is approximately 22 pieces and
as listed above it comes in 2 pieces. This way it's easier to be placed inside of Black's palm. The spear of the scythe has two pointy spikes on both sides. Throughout the
spear part of the scythe theres different diamond shapes that appear very similar to the anime's spiked version. The blade part of the shape has a unique shape where at the
centre of it theres more mass than the sides.
The face of Goku Black looks menacing. Goku Black is the complete opposite of Goku, he is evil, a killer, and merciless. A quick glance to his expression can show all of them
The smmirking smile and the additional lines above the eyes, nose and smile add a more powerful impact to his expression. Goku Black's hair are superb. He has a total of 30
spikes above his head and yes they were counted. Unlike other super saiyans , Goku Black's has 7 spikes pointed down infront of his face. All of the spikes are sculpted with
care to show the additional depth of his hairline. There are two different variations pink, a lighter version of pink can be seen to the front most of the time while a darker version
can be seen in the back side or in-between the spikes of the hair . On the left on his very detailed ear, Goku Black wears a potara earing, that combines the colors of gold for the chain
and green for the main part of the earing. The last detail that can be seen of Black's head is vein on his neck.
On top, Goku Black wears a black long sleeve shirt and a sleeveless grey Gi which he wears similary to a karate Gi uniform. The black shirt of Goku Black is slightly wavy at the edge
of his arms, and in the inbetween of his biceps and brachioradialis. Although he wears a long sleeved shirt Blacks muscle design can be clearly seen in all parts of his arms. At the center
of his shirt, inside the grey gi's V the black shirt is more wavy , and once again it does shows Black's chest muscles. The color palet of his shirt combines , black, dark grey and medium grey.
The various lighter colors are mainly seen on the wavy areas and near main muscle areas. The grey gi, is worn very similar to a karate gi. The right side goes inside and the left side comes and
crosses from above. Goku Black wears a Red belt around his waist.Very similar to the anime, the upper side feels more free and open while below the belt the lower side its free to fall down.
and follow the character's movement.Very similar to the black shirt the Gi is very wavy and combines 3 different color pallets, this being light grey, dark grey and an in between . The front
side is light grey while the back side is mainly dark grey. The inbetween color of grey is mainly seen to the wavy areas on the fornt side.The Belt extremely similar to the rest of his clothing
is wavy and combines 2 red colors. Last but not least his arms. His arms are very deteailed. From his palms to his fingers, the detail is very obvious. From the inside his palms have
the lines design and in the right area. The fingers also have their lines shaped and also have their nails sculpted. From the back of the palm the bone structure is sculptetd and the painting
helps showcasing them. Finaly the iconic time ring Goku Black wears on his pointer on his right hand. The ring is too small, but the patern that resemples the infinite logo is there.
On the lower half Goku Black wears his Black trousers and white boots. The trousers are very wavy. The amount of waves on the pair is astonishing. These waves are mainly created because
of his dynamic pose, the way he wears his boots and because he wears big size trousers. The trousers do look symmetrical despite of their style, which is honestly really hard to pull off.
The colors of the trousers resemples the one of the black shirt. Dark from the back, slightly grey in the middle and even lighter grey near his knees. On his feet Black has his
pointy white boots. The soles of the boots are grey with horizontal lines sculpted. Near his ankles the boots create small waves . Other than white , the boots also have a grey look
towards the areas that shadows should be.(below waves)

Dragon ball super is the original continuatuion of the original Dragon ball Z series which ended back in 1997. The sequel to the original manga and anime made by the creator
Akira Toriyama. The manga is illustrated by Toyotarou and overviewed by Toriyama, while the anime was being produced by Toei Animation. The series continues the adventures of
Son Goku and the events taking place after his victory over Kid Buu. New enemies,new characters, new stories and new powerful transformations are to be expected while the Z warriors
tackle the realm of the gods.
